This model features a patented self diagnostic function which enables the user to enter a personalized systolic and diastolic rate. When the user's blood pressure readings exceed the self management pressure level a RED backlight of either systolic/diastolic or both will illuminate. If the readings are equal or lower than the preset values the screen will illuminate BLUE.

The RED light is a warning light to suggest that you consult your physician. Monitoring your blood pressure on a regular basis and tracking over a period of time can give a more accurate assessment of your blood pressure. This information can assist your physician in evaluating your health and monitoring the effects of your treatment.  Your blood pressure is constantly changing from day to day and even minute to minute. Most changes are entirely normal and one or two random readings will not give you an accurate indication of your true blood pressure. You need to take regular daily readings and keep track over a period of time.

Automatically stores 3 sets of 30 readings (total of 90 readings), with date and time to make it easy for you and your doctor to track your progress.
